and of course, the witch who (somehow) managed to unify them all under her command.
Nevertheless, it was definitely worth completing the game. 👍🏻🔥
(P.S. It would have been nice if I was aware of the dodging mechanic when I was trying out practice mode. You have no idea how much time I had wasted trying to beat every boss on normal difficulty, only to discover that I could goddamnDODGE when I beat the bosses and started to play the actual game 😔)
I only have a few changes ideas for some of the bosses that are hella hard (probably just me being bad)
The game has no prep such mechanics in boss fights (Boogle beast) or simply just something telling you how the fight is gonna be till you either die to them multiple times or play free- play before hand and read the info tab.
Nexa has made me want to pulverize my computer screen multiple times, same with Globeh.
WHY DOES GLONEH HAVE SO MUCH HEALTH!!?!
I swear this man has more than double.
When Nexa does her signature cup dashing things where she makes you memorize, when she finishes and I pick the right cup the platform rotates at the very end making me "guess wrong" way to many times for comfort.
It could just be that I'm bad but I feel the wall attack is REALLY bad like, little no damage, hard to control and shoot. Most of the time I miss, it could maybe use a rework but that could be hard.
I have not even beaten hard because..... its F****** hard, like god dam Ive wanted to do things to my computer over it. I cant even IMAGINE WHAT IMPOSSIBLE IS LIKE.
This is so far how I would rate the bosses difficulty in hard mode.
1. Gooble beast: (Makes me regret playing) 2. Zui: (Goofy ah spin lol) 3. Gravey: (Old lady?) 4. Bulbifier: (Bullet hell) 5. Globeh: (WOW, cool boss [30 minutes later] HOW ARE YOU STILL AT 60% HEALTH!?!?!) 7. Deton: (...bombs...) 8. Nexa: (MMMMM, tea) 9. Mimi: (Fire music)
I will edit this if I EVER beat it to give a full review. >:[
Lmao, like you said, maybe you just have a skill issue
I beat all the bosses on hard difficulty and managed to no-hit Globeh, Mimi, Nexa, Zui and B.B.
Impossible is quite literally impossible because it is solely based on RNG yet I managed to beat the bosses on practice mode and even no-hit Globeh (fav Boss I LOVE his theme and attack patterns)
Just keep playing and eventually you'll find a pattern in evading their attacks. You are also likely making the mistake of choosing ineffective/underwhelming cards against certain bosses.
(The guided missiles do NOT work against Boogle Beast and the projectile barrier spell helps in cancelling Globeh's tornado so you can dodge easier and so on)
Also, about the Nexa cup game frustration, you have to pay attention to the music because it is synchronised to the rotation of the plate. It's all on you for not positioning yourself properly just before the plate spins rapidly.
Hope you beat the game anyhow. You should abuse the dodge mechanic as much as you can 'cuz it literally gives you immunity against any attack 👍🏻
Ohhhhh, so you're just here to be a total jerk to everyone and wank yourself off for being so L33T at the game. Congrats! You've achieved peak insufferability! But at least you're good at the game!
lmao, did I hit a soft spot? Sure, I did get ahead of myself there. The point I was making is that, if a no-hit is possible, then you can definitely beat the game. Congrats on getting rage-baited unintentionally. Also, could you specify when was I "a total jerk to everyone"? (Apparently 🤔)
I love this game, and I really like the fun different abilities. I think the different spells keep things interesting and gets me thinking in the way risk of rain makes me think about which items work well together. If I could make one suggestion, I would like it if the spell card's text immediately displayed, instead of being typed out like the dialogue, I often find myself feeling impatient waiting for the text to display. All in all great game!
This game has a TON of potential. It's already really good. One thing that make it too artificially difficult in my opinion, is that it's way too easy to lose track of where your own character is. She's so small and doesn't stand out a ton. Especially in a level like Nexa's, where the camera is going wild and stuff is flying around, I literally had no clue where my character was in relation to anything.
Just realized another thing about Nexa that feels a bit unfair. When she uses the move where you need to pick the cup she didn't hit, you can go stand next to the correct cup, but then the floor rotates and you do not move along with it, forcing you to pick the incorrect cup and taking huge damage.
I am very aware of that. But that doesn't help. It's impossible to know where the teacup will end up after the floor shifts, and a lot of the time the shift happens quite literally within frames of Nexa performing the attack. You can't tell if Nexa will attack before or after the floor shifts in those instances and you are given very little time to adjust your positioning. Knowing when the floor will shift isn't the issue. It's the fact that you don't move with it.
Not tryna be Captain Obvious here, but unless you're on Impossible mode, you can just dodge the falling cup attack. Otherwise, when the plate rotates just when she is about to attack, you gotta DASH with the cup yourself and anticipate the position of it after the rotation. I guess it would be really difficult for the average player but it is doable.
Wow! Every stage was so unique and full of personality—it was an absolute blast! Even on Normal difficulty, the game was pretty tough, with intense battles that really tested my aiming skills. I struggled a lot, but the sense of accomplishment when I finally cleared it was incredible! My favorite fights were against Mimi and Globeh.
I streamed my playthrough and recorded it, but I accidentally played an older version of the game, so I ended up playing with Nexa’s bug still present.
After the stream, I tried several times on Hard, but I just couldn’t win at all. Still, it was so much fun! Someday, I’ll conquer Hard mode—nya!

Gave up on Gravey because his domain makes me dizzy 🤢
Your joking, i was just about to "beat" the game and there is PERFECT completion badges........ >:(
this game has come a long way since the start if it really nice job
The bosses are a bit quirky in their own ways.
We've got
and of course, the witch who (somehow) managed to unify them all under her command.

Your entire comment reeks of "git gud". That's what makes you a jerk. Touch grass.
"Touch grass" - said by someone provoked by a comment not even directed towards them 😂 (And you should get good anyway )
Super COOL game!!! ₍^. .^₎⟆
i clipped out of the arena circle and couldn't get back in for nexas battle. was it because of the shadow dash thing from boogle beast?
That also happened to me too because I tried to go fast /`• "⩊" •マ

How do I even-
thats sus asf ngl
omg the visuals are stunning!! the gameplay is also really really fun with each boss being so different from each other
i put the link in my discord and some guy said big boobs
I love the graphics. I certainly enjoy the game.
I loved this game! The only thing I think it could improve is maybe adding passive power-ups after beating a boss. But it's nice!
My ranking of favorite bosses would be:
1- Gravey
2- Deton
3- Globey
4- Nexa
5- Zui
6- Mimi
7- Bulbtrifier
8- Boogle beast
I definitely enjoyed it even though I suck :/

This is fun, but I think the bosses are too hard for three lives total to be a reasonable expectation for Normal mode.
Well it would be really good by my lmb broke so.... yeah. Though this happens to be very creative and fun. Good job

fantastic job on the visuals, this was a blast! i frankly have no notes, the protagonist is also v cute
It's a great game, but some things make it bad for the player
1. The tea girl boss is way too hard to hit, I drafted all the bosses except her
2. For the bomb guy when he goes out of the map and throws the bomb there is no indicator of where the bomb will fall
3. the snack guy level is way dark I couldn't see him (I didn't even know how I defeated it)
the spell who shoots fast is realy good to see where he is
esse jogo é incrível mano eu fiquei hora jogando
amazing music, art, and flavor!! love the boss gimmicks, but definitely might be too hard for the average person like me :P
edit: somewhat reminds me of noisz, which i love <3
nexa sometimes gets stuck on the teacups, might have been related to my necromancy skeletons pushing it around?
Interesting, yeah, I'm not sure what's causing that issue but we'll look into it again later
The best game I've seen so far.
waow awesome
Love the art
holllllyy ssshhhit this is really good
